The information found on the site is not guaranteed to be exact, comprehensive, or dependable. Please note that using the website is at your own risk.

6. Transaction Methods Explained

  • 6.1. Credit or Debit Card Payment: The user must have a valid credit or debit card, and enter all the card number digits in the appropriate form. The transaction is processed at the time of placing the order. Only Visa and MasterCard cards are accepted. We only accept payments with secure cards, where authentication of your identity as the cardholder is carried out according to the method established by your bank, through secure electronic commerce (“Verified by Visa” and “MasterCard SecureCode”). The order cannot be accounted for and will not be processed until payment is authorized by your bank or cashier.
  • 6.2. PayPal or Other Platform: After completing the purchase, if this payment method is selected, you will be redirected to the official PayPal website, where you can make the payment. After the payment is successfully processed, your order will be completed, and an email with a summary of your purchase will be sent to your email address. Clicking the “Return to Website” button will take you back to the website to view and print your order. PayPal has its own privacy policies, and Rent Boat Tenerife is not responsible for them.
  • 6.3. REDSYS Platform: After payment approval, the customer will receive a link for payment from Rent Boat Tenerife, and will be redirected to the official REDSYS website. After the payment is successfully processed, your order will be completed, and an email with a summary of your purchase will be sent to your email address. REDSYS has its own privacy policies, and Rent Boat Tenerife is not responsible for them.

7. Terms for Bookings and Deposits

Legal adults are eligible to make bookings. If the passenger is below 18, an accompanying adult is necessary for the boat tour. It’s your duty to provide accurate personal and group information and adhere to boat safety regulations and crew instructions. For the welfare of passengers with limited mobility, ensure the selected boat aligns with individual health conditions and requirements.

8. Transfer Services Details

Some tours offered by Rent Boat Tenerife include a transfer service. If you book with us and see a mention of “transfer in the south of Tenerife,” this zone includes Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje, La Caleta, and Playa Paraiso. If your place of accommodation is outside of this zone, the transfer is not included and requires prior coordination with our staff. Please be aware that canceling the boat excursion due to discovering that your accommodation is not eligible for the free transfer is not permitted. The transfer service is provided by our partner. Rent Boat Tenerife specifies the correct meeting time and location on your ticket, but the responsibility for timely arrival lies with the partner, and you must be ready on time. Please note that even if the transfer service is indicated, it may not be available due to certain reasons such as transportation breakdown or all available seats being occupied due to last-minute bookings.

9. Last-Minute Booking Conditions

Some yacht trips offered by Rent Boat Tenerife include food and beverages. However, in the case of bookings made less than three hours before the scheduled departure, this service is not provided.

10. Modification and Cancellation of Booking

RentBoatTenerife.com understands that booking adjustments might be necessary. In such cases, we will reach out to discuss significant changes or, if there’s adequate time before the excursion, notify you if you already have a ticket. The final scheduled time will be stated in your confirmation ticket.

In rare cases of cancellation due to insufficient participants or unforeseen circumstances, customers have the option to receive a full refund or choose an alternative excursion of a similar standard and price. If the selected alternative is of lower standard and price, the difference will be refunded. The original booking terms remain unchanged if an alternative excursion is chosen.

11. Weather-Related Cancellations

We have reliable and accurate weather forecasts 48 hours prior to the service. If there is a forecast of bad weather, customers/participants have the option to cancel the service or reschedule it for another date. In the event of cancellation due to bad weather within the specified time frame, we guarantee a full refund. Cancellations after the start of the service are not accepted. Bad weather is defined as heavy rain, strong winds, or sea conditions that pose a threat to the safety of navigation, guests, and crew. 

Rent Boat Tenerife reserves the right to make a decision regarding the feasibility of the boat trip based on the weather forecast and the necessary conditions for safe service provision. Sometimes weather conditions may change during the day, not corresponding to the forecasts, and create conditions that, although allowing for safe navigation, are not ideal for a complete experience. In such cases, our company will inform customers about the current sea conditions during registration and after boarding by the captain. If customers wish to cancel the reservation and not participate in the activity, a full refund will be provided. However, customers who have already commenced the journey do not have the option to cancel the service or receive a partial refund.

We strive to ensure that all our customers are satisfied and have a great time. If we have grounds to believe that the conditions for the boat trip will not be met within 48 hours, we will inform and recommend the customer to cancel the booking. Sometimes we encounter cancellation attempts due to weather forecasts that anticipate light rain or cloudiness with low probability. In such cases, cancellation due to weather conditions is not processed.

12. Free Cancellation Policy

Customers can cancel their boat reservation free of charge within certain time frames. Each boat has its specific cancellation terms, which can be found in the provided information. Please remember that any prepayment made at the time of booking is non-refundable if the service is declined, rescheduled, or changed due to personal reasons, including subjective assessment of weather conditions or illness. 13. Disclaimer for Personal Injuries

Please note that Rent Boat Tenerife cannot accept responsibility for illnesses, injuries, or death that may occur during the boat trip. By accepting our terms, customers acknowledge that Rent Boat Tenerife is not liable and has no financial obligation in any of these unfortunate circumstances.

14. No-Show Policy

Failure to appear without prior notice not only affects our scheduling but also results in a significant loss of time and resources. In such no-show cases, the paid service cost is non-refundable.

15. Complaints Procedure

RentBoatTenerife oversees the booking process but cannot address complaints related to the boat trip itself. Any grievances should be directed toward the on-site service provider. If our partner provides a full or partial refund, it will be seen as a resolution to your complaint. Further claims will not be entertained under any circumstances.

16. Legislation and Dispute Resolution

These booking terms are governed by the national legislation of Spain (Canary Islands). Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the company’s registered address.
